1st formal post

The formal first post for this blog is being posted from West Bay in the Cayman Islands. I am nearing the end of my adventure here on this island but it sure has been a good one. See look, thats Caybrew. Its a dirty little lager which the people on this island love. I presonally am not a huge pilsner fan but hey, I'm on an island so I am throwing all of my inhibitions to the wind and setting sail on trying new things. It sure is better than any american pilsner though, that is for sure. It has a nice hop presence and a very smooth finish. It is well made and well marketed. I bet those mo-fos are rich. I met the people who started a brew pub on the island which is called Hammerheads. They distill a fine rum there called seven fathoms, which is distilled 42 ft. under the ocean surface hince the name seven fathoms. I arranged a brewery tour of their facility because I love checking out peoples operation for their beer, it gets me all choked up and hoppy.
